Hey guys it's Jon, the Executive Chef here at Sixty Kitchen.
Each month, myself, everyone in the kitchen and sometimes those not, get together and choose a set menu that we think you will love!
We make sure there is a perfect balance of flavours and before we set the menu live, it goes through rigorous taste testing to make sure it's up to Sixty standards...
Here's what's on the menu this month:
char shumai

Two chip shop favourites have got together in possibly the most exciting merseyside partnership since Lennon and McCartney [citation needed]
Tender pork shoulder, Char Sui sauce encased in crispy pastry... this is one for the history books.

honey and black pepper ribs
Back once again for the renegade master,
The most requested rib/sauce combo returns for a third time.
Our Signature meaty ribs, glazed in a sauce thats thick and sweet with a smokey black pepper kick.
Should ribs make a return in October, or should we give them a little break?

Macca, this ones for you.
18 months of asking in nearly every Sixty Kitchen meeting, has paid off, and the most popular man I know finally gets his dish on the menu.
I love this dish from the chippy, but will never get behind them twiglets of leathery meat that don't seem to resemble any chicken I've ever used, so we have gave this dish the Sixty treatment.
Whole breast in our special batter, fried until crispy, then sliced thinly, it sits atop that famous sweet and spicy, sticky sauce packed full of thinly sliced veg.
Its the dish you know and love, but with a glow up...

beef curry
A sauce too good to just be in a pot on the side.
Everything you would expect from a chippy curry sauce, sitting below slices of braised beef shin and finished with curry oil and spring onions.
A dish that ain't all that fancy but packs a punch and delivers exactly what you would want from a chip shop curry.
